If you have been looking into treatment options for erectile dysfunction, you may have come across Vidalista 20 mg. It is a tablet that contains 20 mg of tadalafil, a PDE5 inhibitor in the same family as sildenafil but with one big difference: tadalafil stays active in the body for up to 36 hours, which is why it is sometimes called the weekend pill. Vidalista is made by Centurion Laboratories, a pharmaceutical company based in India. The idea behind this page is simple: give you the real facts, straight and clear, so you can make an informed decision rather than relying on marketing talk. Nothing here is meant to push you toward a purchase. It is here so that if you do decide to buy, you know exactly what you are getting and what to expect.

What Is Vidalista 20 mg, Really?
The Active Ingredient and What 20 mg Means
Every Vidalista 20 mg tablet contains 20 mg of tadalafil. Tadalafil is part of a family of medicines known as PDE5 inhibitors, which have been used for erectile dysfunction since the early 2000s. It works in a similar way to sildenafil (the ingredient in Viagra), but it has a much longer half-life in the body, which is why it is sometimes called the weekend pill.
The 20 mg figure is important, and here is why. The standard tadalafil doses approved for erectile dysfunction are 10 mg as a starting dose and 20 mg as the maximum for as-needed use. There is also a low-dose daily option of 2.5 mg or 5 mg taken every day. So 20 mg is the top of the standard recommended range for as-needed use. It is not where most people begin, but it is a recognised dose that doctors prescribe when the 10 mg starting dose has not been enough. If you have never used tadalafil before, the usual advice is to start at 10 mg and only move to 20 mg if the lower dose is not effective enough and is well tolerated. Talk to a doctor about whether this strength is right for you.
The Condition It Is Meant For
Vidalista 20 mg is intended for erectile dysfunction, the difficulty some men face in getting or keeping an erection firm enough for sex. It is a common issue and far more ordinary than people often assume. ED can have physical roots, psychological roots, or a mixture of both. Because tadalafil has a long clinical history and has been studied extensively, there is solid evidence behind what it does and does not do, and this page draws on that evidence rather than on promotional claims.
The Product Itself
Centurion Laboratories manufactures Vidalista 20 from its facility in India. The tablets are usually sold in blister strips, commonly with ten tablets per strip. It is important to separate two things here: the active ingredient, which is well studied, and the specific product, which is a generic made outside the standard regulatory framework of most countries where it is sold. Sharing an ingredient with Cialis tells you about the compound, it does not, on its own, tell you that Vidalista 20 has passed the same quality checks or holds the same regulatory approvals as a locally registered medicine. That distinction is worth holding onto throughout this page.
What Does Vidalista 20 mg Actually Do?
Helping with Erectile Dysfunction
For men whose ED has a physical cause, often related to blood flow, tadalafil can make a genuine difference. It works with the body’s own response to sexual arousal to make achieving an erection easier. The effect is real and, for many people, meaningful. But it is a help, not a fix. It addresses the symptom, not the underlying reason the problem exists in the first place.
What It Will Not Do
It helps to be honest about the limits. Vidalista 20 mg will not give you an erection on its own, there has to be sexual stimulation for anything to happen. It will not raise your sex drive or desire. It is not an aphrodisiac. It will not help you last longer by delaying ejaculation, since that is a different issue entirely. And it will not cure whatever is causing your ED, whether that is a health condition, a medication you are taking, or stress and anxiety. Knowing what it does not do is just as important as knowing what it does.
Why ED Is Worth Talking to a Doctor About
Erection problems are sometimes the first sign that something else is going on. Persistent ED can be connected to heart and blood vessel disease, diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. It can also relate to the side effects of other medicines, or to mental health. None of this means you should panic, but it does mean that recurring ED deserves a proper conversation with a healthcare professional, not just a tablet. Understanding the cause is part of looking after yourself properly.
How Does Vidalista 20 Work?
The Science, in Plain Terms
When a man becomes sexually aroused, his body releases a substance called nitric oxide in the erectile tissue. That sets off a chain reaction which produces a molecule called cyclic GMP. This molecule tells the smooth muscles around the blood vessels in the penis to relax, which lets blood flow in and creates an erection. Under normal circumstances, an enzyme called PDE5 switches this process off by breaking down cyclic GMP. Tadalafil blocks that enzyme. With PDE5 held back, cyclic GMP lasts longer, and the erection response is supported.
Tadalafil is a highly selective inhibitor of PDE5. In laboratory studies, it has been shown to be more than 10,000 times more potent against PDE5 than against other phosphodiesterase enzymes found in the heart, brain, blood vessels, and liver. It is about 700 times more potent for PDE5 than for PDE6, the enzyme found in the retina. This selectivity profile matters because it explains why tadalafil tends to cause fewer visual side effects than sildenafil, which has a relatively lower selectivity for PDE6.
What Makes Tadalafil Different from Sildenafil
Tadalafil and sildenafil are in the same class of medicines, but they behave differently in the body in three important ways:
- Duration. Tadalafil has a half-life of about 17.5 hours, compared with roughly 4 hours for sildenafil. This means tadalafil stays active in the body for much longer, with effects that can last up to 36 hours. Sildenafil typically lasts 4 to 6 hours.
- Food. The rate and extent of tadalafil absorption are not influenced by food. You can take it with or without a meal without worrying about it being delayed. Sildenafil, by contrast, is affected by high-fat meals, which can reduce peak concentration by about 29% and delay onset by about an hour.
- Side effect profile. Tadalafil is associated with less facial flushing than sildenafil but more back pain and muscle aches. Studies comparing the two directly have found that myalgia is significantly more common with tadalafil, while flushing is significantly more common with sildenafil. The overall rate of side effects is similar between the two.
Why Stimulation Matters So Much
This is the point most often misunderstood. Taking a tadalafil tablet will not, by itself, cause an erection. Without sexual stimulation, whether physical or mental, there is no nitric oxide release, no cyclic GMP to protect, and therefore nothing for the medicine to act on. It is not a switch you flip. It is a support that only kicks in when the body has already started the process naturally. At recommended doses, tadalafil has no effect in the absence of sexual stimulation.
How to Take Vidalista 20 mg
Is Vidalista 20 mg Where You Start?
Usually, no. The standard starting dose of tadalafil for ED is 10 mg, taken before sexual activity. From there, a doctor may adjust it up to 20 mg or down to 5 mg based on response and tolerability. The 20 mg strength is the maximum recommended as-needed dose. There is also a daily dosing option of 2.5 mg or 5 mg taken every day at the same time, which allows for spontaneous sexual activity without planning ahead.
Your dose depends on your health, your other medications and how you respond, which is why this is a decision for a prescriber, not for guesswork. For older patients, those with kidney or liver problems, or those taking certain other medicines, a lower dose is recommended. In patients with mild or moderate hepatic impairment, the maximum recommended dose should not exceed 10 mg. In patients with severe renal impairment, the maximum recommended as-needed dose is 10 mg, not to be taken more frequently than every 48 hours.
Timing It Right
Tadalafil for as-needed use is taken when needed, not on a daily schedule. The usual guidance is to take it roughly 30 to 45 minutes before you plan to be sexually active, though it can be taken anywhere from 30 minutes to 12 hours beforehand. Because the effects can last up to 36 hours, the timing window is much more flexible than with sildenafil. You do not need to plan as precisely around when you take the tablet.
If you are using the daily dosing option (2.5 mg or 5 mg), you take it at the same time every day regardless of when sexual activity is planned. This approach maintains a steady level of the medicine in your body and removes the need to plan ahead.
Food and Drink
One advantage of tadalafil over sildenafil is that food does not affect its absorption. The rate and extent of absorption are not influenced by food, so you can take it with or without a meal without any impact on how quickly it works or how much of the active ingredient reaches your bloodstream.
As for alcohol, small amounts are usually fine for most people, but drinking heavily can blunt the effect and increase the chance of side effects such as dizziness, headache, or a drop in blood pressure. Both alcohol and tadalafil can lower blood pressure, and combined, the effect can be additive. There is no blanket guarantee that mixing the two is harmless for everyone. Grapefruit and grapefruit juice should also be avoided, as they can increase tadalafil levels in the body and raise the risk of side effects.
How to Take Vidalista 20
Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break it. You can take it with or without food.
How Often Is Safe?
The maximum is one dose in any 24-hour period for as-needed use. Taking more does not improve the result and raises the risk of side effects. Because tadalafil stays in the body for a long time, taking a second dose too soon can lead to a buildup of the medicine in your system. If one dose does not seem to do enough, the next step is to seek advice, not to take a second dose.
If Vidalista 20 Does Not Seem to Work
Sometimes tadalafil does not produce the expected effect, and there can be several reasons for that. It may be a matter of timing, or of an underlying health issue that needs separate attention, or of a medicine interaction. The right response is to talk to a healthcare professional who can review the dose, check for medicines that might be interfering, and look into other possible causes. Increasing the dose on your own is not the answer and can be unsafe.
How Long Until Vidalista 20 Works, and How Long It Lasts?
When You Can Expect It to Kick In
Tadalafil generally starts to take effect within 30 to 45 minutes of swallowing the tablet. The earliest onset has been reported at around 16 minutes in some studies, but the median time is closer to 45 minutes. Some people feel it sooner, others a little later. The timing is not identical for everyone, so it is best not to expect a precise, clockwork onset.
How Long the Window Lasts
This is where tadalafil stands apart from the other ED medicines. The medicine remains active in the body for up to about 36 hours. What that means is that during this period, it is easier to achieve an erection in response to sexual stimulation. It does not mean you will have a continuous erection for 36 hours. The effect is about responsiveness, not a constant state. In clinical studies, 59% of intercourse attempts were successful at 36 hours after dosing with tadalafil, compared with 28% for placebo. Both tadalafil and its active metabolite have a terminal half-life of about 17.5 hours. After that, the concentration in the body gradually drops off and the effect fades.
This long window is why tadalafil is sometimes called the weekend pill. A tablet taken on Friday evening can still be effective on Sunday morning. It removes the need to plan sexual activity around a narrow time window, which is one of the main reasons some men prefer it over sildenafil.
What Can Change the Timing
A few things can shift how quickly tadalafil works and how long it lasts. Unlike sildenafil, food does not have a significant effect on absorption. Your age, general health and individual metabolism all play a part. Sexual stimulation is essential, without it, the medicine will not produce an erection no matter how perfectly timed the dose. Other medicines, especially those that affect the CYP3A4 liver enzyme responsible for breaking down tadalafil, can also change how the drug behaves in your system. Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors like ketoconazole and ritonavir can raise tadalafil levels significantly, while CYP3A4 inducers like rifampin can lower them.
Does It Help You Last Longer in Bed?
Tadalafil is an erectile dysfunction treatment, not a premature ejaculation treatment. Its mechanism is about improving blood flow to support an erection, not about delaying ejaculation. Some men report that having a more reliable erection reduces anxiety, which may indirectly help with how long they last. But this is a secondary effect, not the primary purpose of the medicine. If premature ejaculation is your main concern, tadalafil alone may not address it. There are separate treatments for premature ejaculation, including dapoxetine. Talk to a healthcare professional about what is right for your situation.
Side Effects: What to Expect and What to Watch For
The More Common Effects
Side effects are possible with any medicine, and tadalafil is no exception. The ones reported most frequently in clinical studies include:
- Headache
- Flushing of the face (though less common than with sildenafil)
- Indigestion or an upset stomach
- A blocked or runny nose
- Back pain
- Muscle aches
- Pain in the arms or legs
These tend to be mild and usually pass as the medicine wears off. They are more likely at higher doses. One thing to note about tadalafil specifically is that back pain and muscle aches are more common with tadalafil than with sildenafil, and because tadalafil lasts longer in the body, these side effects can also last longer. In one study, the mean duration of side effects with tadalafil was about 15 hours, compared with about 4 hours for sildenafil. The level of bother was similar, but the duration was longer.
The Effects That Need Urgent Attention
A smaller number of side effects are serious and need immediate medical help. These include:
- Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes
- Sudden hearing loss or a drop in hearing, sometimes with ringing in the ears
- An erection that will not go down after four hours
- Chest pain, an irregular or racing heartbeat, or shortness of breath
- Fainting or a sharp drop in blood pressure
- Severe swelling of the face, lips or throat, or a serious skin reaction
These are rare, but they are not something to wait out. Recognising them early and acting quickly can prevent lasting harm.
When It Is a Genuine Emergency
If an erection lasts more than four hours, that is a medical emergency and the condition, called priapism, can cause permanent damage to the penis if it is not treated. Sudden loss of vision or hearing should also be treated as urgent, because delaying can make the damage irreversible. And any sign of a heart problem, chest pain, pressure spreading to the arm or jaw, heavy sweating, severe dizziness, warrants emergency care straight away. If any of these happen, stop taking the medicine and get help immediately. Tell emergency medical staff that you have taken tadalafil so they can provide appropriate care.
Who Should Not Take Vidalista 20, and Who Needs Care?
The Clear Cases Where It Is Not Safe
Some situations make tadalafil outright unsafe. The most important ones are:
- You take any nitrate medicine. This includes nitroglycerin in any form (tablets, spray, patch), isosorbide medicines, and anything prescribed for angina or chest pain. The combination can cause a dangerous, potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure.
- You take riociguat, a medicine used for pulmonary arterial hypertension.
- You take guanylate cyclase stimulators such as vericiguat.
- You are allergic to tadalafil or any ingredient in the tablet.
Recreational poppers (amyl nitrate or butyl nitrite) fall into the same danger zone as nitrates and must not be combined with tadalafil.
Conditions That Mean a Closer Look Is Needed
Several health issues do not automatically rule tadalafil out, but they do mean a doctor needs to weigh things up carefully before prescribing it:
- Heart and blood vessel conditions, especially a recent heart attack or stroke, or a serious irregular heartbeat
- Blood pressure that is very low (below 90/50 mmHg) or high blood pressure that is not well controlled
- Severe liver or kidney problems. For patients with mild or moderate hepatic impairment, the maximum dose should not exceed 10 mg. For those with severe renal impairment, the maximum as-needed dose is 10 mg, not more often than every 48 hours.
- Conditions that affect the shape of the penis, such as Peyronie’s disease
- A bleeding disorder or an active stomach ulcer
- Conditions that predispose you to priapism, such as sickle cell anaemia, leukaemia, or multiple myeloma
- A condition that affects the eyes, especially non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy, known as NAION
- Retinitis pigmentosa, a rare inherited eye condition
In these cases, the question is not just whether tadalafil might work, but whether it is safe for you specifically.
Medicines That Can Interact
Tadalafil can interact with other medicines in ways that matter. The key ones to be aware of:
- Nitrates, never combine them, as explained above
- Alpha-blockers (tamsulosin, doxazosin, alfuzosin), which are used for prostate symptoms or high blood pressure. These can lower blood pressure further, so tadalafil is usually started at a reduced dose.
- Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ritonavir, ketoconazole, clarithromycin, and erythromycin. These can raise the level of tadalafil in your body significantly, increasing the risk of side effects. A lower tadalafil dose may be needed.
- CYP3A4 inducers such as rifampin, carbamazepine, and phenobarbital. These can lower tadalafil levels and reduce its effectiveness.
- Other ED medicines in the same class (sildenafil, vardenafil). These should not be used together.
- Certain HIV protease inhibitors and antifungal medicines, which can affect tadalafil levels.
- Grapefruit and grapefruit juice, which can increase tadalafil levels and the risk of side effects.
The safest approach is to tell your doctor or pharmacist about everything you take, including medicines you buy without a prescription and any supplements.
Alcohol
A small amount of alcohol is unlikely to cause problems for most people. But larger amounts can reduce how well tadalafil works and increase the chance of side effects like dizziness, flushing and low blood pressure. There is no single safe rule that applies to everyone, it depends on your own health and circumstances.
Before You Start
It is worth having a healthcare professional review your medical history and current medicines before you begin, particularly if you have not had a recent check-up, you take blood pressure medicines, or you have any heart concerns. This is not just about whether tadalafil suits you, it is also about understanding why ED is happening in the first place.

- 150 tablets offers further savings on per-tablet cost for those who know the product works for them.
- 300 tablets offers the lowest per-tablet cost and is ideal for long-term users who want the best value.
What Price Should Not Be the Only Thing You Check
A low price does not prove a product is authentic. A high one does not guarantee quality. Before focusing on cost, you should check that the product is correctly identified, that the supplier is legitimate, that a prescription is handled properly, and that the supply is lawful. These checks are what actually protect you, the price is secondary.
Vidalista 20 mg vs Viagra
Are They the Same Thing?
They share the same class of medicine, PDE5 inhibitors, but they contain different active ingredients. Vidalista contains tadalafil, while Viagra contains sildenafil. They are made by different manufacturers, work through the same general mechanism, but behave differently in the body in ways that matter.
Where They Genuinely Differ
The differences that matter are about duration, food interaction, and side effect profile:
| Feature | Vidalista 20 mg (tadalafil) | Viagra (sildenafil) |
|---|---|---|
| Active ingredient | Tadalafil 20 mg | Sildenafil citrate (25, 50, 100 mg) |
| Onset | 30 to 45 minutes | 30 to 60 minutes |
| Duration | Up to 36 hours | 4 to 6 hours |
| Food interaction | None, can take with or without food | High-fat meal reduces absorption and delays onset |
| Half-life | 17.5 hours | About 4 hours |
| Common unique side effects | Back pain, muscle aches | Facial flushing, visual changes (blue tint) |
| Regulatory status (branded equivalent) | Cialis is TGA/FDA registered | Viagra is TGA/FDA registered |
With Viagra (or its branded equivalent Cialis for tadalafil), there is a documented chain of regulatory approval and quality review. With Vidalista, that chain is not guaranteed. Vidalista has not been assessed by most national regulators and is not listed on registers like the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods. Two products can contain the same class of compound and still differ in how reliably they are manufactured, how they are stored and shipped, and what legal protections surround their supply.
Which One Is Right for You?
That is not a question of brand loyalty or price. It is a clinical decision. Some men prefer tadalafil because of its long duration and the flexibility it offers. Others prefer sildenafil because it has a shorter, more predictable window and a longer track record. A healthcare professional can tell you whether tadalafil or sildenafil is more appropriate for you, what dose makes sense, and which product fits your situation.
Vidalista 20 mg vs Cialis
Are They the Same Thing?
Vidalista 20 mg and Cialis both contain 20 mg of tadalafil. Cialis is the original branded medicine, developed by Eli Lilly and formally assessed by regulators around the world. Vidalista is a generic version made by Centurion Laboratories. They share the same active ingredient, the same strength, and the same mechanism of action. The main difference is price and regulatory status. Cialis is significantly more expensive but carries the assurance of formal regulatory approval. Vidalista is much cheaper but has not gone through the same approval process in most countries.
Which One Is Right for You?
If budget is a concern and you have discussed the options with your doctor, a generic may be a reasonable choice. But the decision should not be made on price alone. The regulatory and quality assurance that comes with a registered medicine like Cialis is part of what you are paying for. A healthcare professional can help you weigh the trade-offs.
Other Vidalista Strengths
Depending on the supplier, Vidalista may be available in several strengths:
- Vidalista 2.5 mg
- Vidalista 5 mg
- Vidalista 10 mg
- Vidalista 20 mg
- Vidalista 40 mg
- Vidalista 60 mg
- Vidalista 80 mg
- Vidalista Professional (sublingual)
- Vidalista CT (chewable)
- Extra Super Vidalista (tadalafil plus dapoxetine)
What Different Strengths Actually Mean
The range of strengths exists so that the dose can be matched to the individual. A higher number is not a better or stronger version of the medicine, it simply means more tadalafil per tablet. Moving to a higher strength is a clinical decision. If a lower dose feels underwhelming, the right step is to discuss it with a doctor, not to upgrade on your own. More is not automatically more effective, and at higher doses the risk of side effects increases. The standard tadalafil doses used in clinical practice for ED are 10 mg (starting) and 20 mg (maximum as-needed). The 2.5 mg and 5 mg options are for daily use. Doses above 20 mg exceed the standard recommended range.
What Australian Buyers Need to Know
The Rules Around Prescriptions and Regulation
In most countries, including Australia, tadalafil is a prescription-only medicine. That means it can only be legally supplied with a valid prescription from a registered doctor. Vidalista 20 mg is not listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), so it has not gone through the TGA’s assessment of quality, safety and efficacy. Sharing an ingredient with a TGA-approved medicine like Cialis does not mean Vidalista itself is approved and it should not be described that way.
In Australia, there is a pathway called the Personal Importation Scheme that allows individuals to import a medicine for their own personal use, but it comes with strict conditions. The import must be for you or an immediate family member, not for resale. It cannot exceed a 3-month supply at the maximum prescribed dose, and the total imported over any 12-month period must not exceed a 15-month supply. You must hold a valid written Australian prescription at the time of importation and electronic prescriptions (eScripts) are not accepted for this purpose; a signed, written prescription is required. All products must be in their original packaging or packaging that allows for the product to be accurately identified. Counterfeit medicines are prohibited from import under any circumstances and will be seized at the border.
Warnings About Online ED Products
Regulatory authorities have warned that laboratory testing shows a significant proportion of ED products sold through unverified online sources are counterfeit and pose health risks. They may contain undisclosed or harmful ingredients, incorrect dosages, or undeclared prescription medicines. Safe and effective treatments for ED are available via prescription and can be dispensed from registered pharmacies.
How to Check the Product and the Seller
Before you spend any money, it is worth verifying a few things:
- The product name, strength and active ingredient as printed on the packaging
- The manufacturer details and whether the product can be properly identified from its packaging
- Whether the supplier provides a real contact method and a traceable business address
- Whether the supplier requires a prescription where one is legally needed
- Whether the supplier’s claims about the product can be checked independently
If a seller is willing to supply a prescription-only medicine without asking for a prescription at all, that is a clear warning sign, not a convenience.
Delivery and Support
A trustworthy supplier should state delivery times clearly, note any destination-specific restrictions, and offer tracking if they claim to. Their customer support should be reachable through a genuine channel, not just an anonymous web form. Their returns and refund policy should be visible before you buy. If any of these are missing or vague, ask yourself why.
A Simple Checklist Before You Buy
Run through these before making a decision:
- Is the product clearly identified with the correct name, strength and active ingredient?
- Do you have a valid prescription, and does the supplier require it?
- Can the supplier be verified as a legitimate business with real contact details?
- Is the total cost including shipping shown clearly?
- Are delivery terms, returns and customer support information available?
- Does the import meet the conditions of any applicable personal importation rules?
This is not about assuming every online supplier is dishonest, or that every overseas order is illegal. It is about checking the specific facts for the product and seller in front of you, so your decision is based on reality rather than assumption.

Quick Answers to Your Questions
Find helpful information about our products, ordering process, delivery and more.
01 How long does Vidalista 20 last?
Tadalafil can remain active in the body for up to 36 hours. This does not mean a continuous erection for that period. It means the medicine supports the erection response during that window when sexual stimulation occurs. This is why tadalafil is sometimes called the weekend pill. In clinical studies, 59% of intercourse attempts were successful at 36 hours after dosing.
02 What is Vidalista 20 used for?
It is used for erectile dysfunction in adult men. The tadalafil in each tablet works with the body's response to sexual stimulation to help achieve an erection. It is meant to be used with proper medical guidance, not as a quick fix on its own. The 20 mg strength is the maximum recommended as-needed dose, not a starting dose.
03 Is Vidalista the same as Viagra?
No. Vidalista contains tadalafil and Viagra contains sildenafil. Both are PDE5 inhibitors and work through the same general mechanism, but they differ in important ways. Tadalafil lasts up to 36 hours, while sildenafil lasts 4 to 6 hours. Tadalafil is not affected by food, while sildenafil's absorption is delayed by high-fat meals. Tadalafil is more likely to cause back pain and muscle aches, while sildenafil is more likely to cause facial flushing and visual changes. They are different medicines, not interchangeable products.
04 Is 20mg tadalafil too strong?
Not necessarily. Twenty milligrams is the maximum recommended as-needed dose of tadalafil for erectile dysfunction. It is not a starting dose. The standard starting dose is 10 mg. If 10 mg is not effective enough and is well tolerated, a doctor may increase it to 20 mg. So 20 mg is a recognised dose, but it is at the top of the standard range. Whether it is the right dose for you depends on your health, your other medicines, and how you respond. This is a decision for a healthcare professional, not for guesswork. For some people, such as those with kidney or liver problems, 20 mg may be too much and a lower dose is recommended.
05 How quickly does Vidalista 20 work?
Tadalafil generally starts working within 30 to 45 minutes. The earliest onset has been reported at around 16 minutes in some studies, but the median time is closer to 45 minutes. The timing varies from person to person.
06 Can I take Vidalista 20 with food?
Yes. Unlike sildenafil, tadalafil's absorption is not affected by food. You can take it with or without a meal without any impact on how quickly it works or how much of the active ingredient reaches your bloodstream. Grapefruit and grapefruit juice should be avoided.
07 Can I drink alcohol while taking Vidalista 20?
Limit alcohol. Both alcohol and tadalafil can lower blood pressure. Combined, they may cause dizziness, headache, or fainting. Heavy drinking also impairs erectile function on its own. If you drink, keep it moderate and discuss your alcohol use with your doctor.
08 How often can I take Vidalista 20?
The maximum is one dose in any 24-hour period for as-needed use. Because tadalafil stays in the body for a long time, taking a second dose too soon can lead to a buildup of the medicine in your system. If one dose does not seem to do enough, talk to a healthcare professional rather than taking a second dose.
09 Can Vidalista 20 be taken with nitrates?
No. Never combine tadalafil with nitrates. The combination can cause a dangerous, potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure. This includes nitroglycerin, isosorbide medicines, and recreational poppers.
10 What are the common side effects?
The most common side effects are headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, nasal congestion, facial flushing, and pain in the arms or legs. These tend to be mild and usually pass as the medicine wears off. Because tadalafil lasts longer in the body than sildenafil, side effects can also last longer. Serious side effects that need emergency care include sudden vision or hearing loss, an erection lasting more than four hours, chest pain, and severe allergic reactions.
11 What should I do if I take too much?
If you suspect you have taken too much, seek urgent medical attention immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe headache, dizziness, prolonged or painful erection, nausea, vomiting, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or fainting. Tell emergency medical staff that you have taken tadalafil. Do not take nitrates unless emergency clinicians determine it is safe.
12 Can I take Vidalista 20 if I take other medicines?
Tell your doctor about everything you take before using this product. Tadalafil must never be combined with nitrates or riociguat. It can interact with alpha-blockers, other PDE5 inhibitors, strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ritonavir and ketoconazole, and grapefruit products. Your doctor can advise whether tadalafil is safe with your current medicines.
13 How should I store Vidalista 20?
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep tablets in their original blister packaging until ready to use. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
14 What if it does not work for me?
Sometimes tadalafil does not produce the expected effect on the first try. This is common and does not mean the product is faulty. Possible reasons include timing, an underlying health condition, or a medicine interaction. Talk to a healthcare professional who can review the dose, check for interfering medicines, and investigate other causes.
